Learn new languages without
spending a lot of time and money with flashcards!

Flashcards make learning a language fun
and fast. The colorful pictures and large bold
lettering help you
memorize words and images faster and remember them over
a longer period of time.
These high quality
files contain both color and black and white images that
have been carefully chosen to help you associate the
words with the pictures to ensure the fastest learning
possible.

About the flashcards
These are just like the
flashcards you used in school to help with memorizing
information, except they are in an electronic format.
The first page has a large picture with a small caption,
and the next page has the word in the foreign language.
You can browse through the complete list in just a few
minutes, and after reviewing them several times you will
have learned most of the words.
How to use
-
Download the file
to a location on your computer that is easy to find
again and open it in Adobe Reader. (click
here if you don't have Adobe Reader)
-
Once it is open, set
the program so that you see one full page (View -
Fit Page), and set the scroll options to Single
Page (View - Page Layout - Single Page).
You may also want to try Full Screen Mode (View -
Full Screen) to reduce any distractions.
-
That's it, now you
are ready to start learning. Just press the
down arrow key until you come to the first
picture. Look at the picture and read the
caption so you can associate the picture with the
word that it represents.
-
Press the down arrow
key again to see the word in the foreign language.
If possible, say the word aloud so you can
see and hear it.
-
The first time
through the list may take awhile, but each time you
review the list it will go faster, until you have
learned all the words. Then all that is
necessary is to review the list occasionally
to keep all the words fresh in your mind!
Why use flashcards
Flashcards are especially
useful for visual learners, and help take away the
monotony of memorizing lists of words. By using
these cards instead of making your own you will have
most of the words memorized before you could create your
first set of cards!
